I consider this “my” part of the yard, it is where I feel the most connected to Nature, and one of the areas I most like to walk around and visit. I call it the orchard because this is where the fruit trees are – there are 3 old apple trees that have gone a bit wild. Am working on taming them a bit, perhaps one day I can get some bonus apples (but hey – if they’ve decided to retire Im happy with the blossoms). I have planted 2 cherry trees here as well (ok, 3, but one died in its first year – I swear not my fault!).
