So, back at the beginning of November after we had frost and snow, I dug up the dahlia tubers as per instructions I received from a master Dahlia gardner who just happens to operate a business across the street. I let them…dry?cure?sit? for a week or so in the cool dim back room, then layered them in basket with newspapers which is stored in the basement. So far so good… nothing is shrivelly or rotten.. fingers crossed they make it through the winter!
